Landrover and Jaguar are now TATA Brands!

Bless! Tata Motors has done the do and signed on the dotted line today. Once again the Nay sayers are out in full force. I have one word for them - NANO!

Remember that 1 lakh car that was not build able? TML did it and how! Now, everyone is saying they might have bitten off more than they can chew with this 2.3 billion dollar deal with Ford. Why? Come on guys give TATA's a break. They have done India proud in the past and will do so in the future! Just my 2.3 cents.

Hi BM Log,

Greetings from Delhi. This is Sachin once more.

In regards to your announcement please note that i will be visiting the TML tomm to get the pulley changed. Will surely update you guys what they exactly did and also how it will help our beasts in the future.

One more important note is that last time I visited the service station the GM of work shop told me to stop using any additive with plain diesel as the fuel available in India is still not up to the mark for us to use it. He has confirmed to let me know when we can start using it again.

I have also done 2500 KMS on the black beast and it has surely become addictive to ride and nothing else.

Feel free to let me know if you guys want me to find out any thing specific.

Take Care

Sachin - Delhi.

Hi Sachin,

Great to hear that your beast will be getting a new pulley tomorrow. No such luck at this end yet.

Will look forward to your report. All the best for tomorrow.

Today bought the system D from a BP pu.mp.

However, will by trying out plain diesel [from IOC] for this weekends forest run without the system D. Till now I had been using premium diesel only

Let me see how it goes, i.e, without the additive.

Whatever I drove from the fuel pump to my house I do not feel any loss of power. Similarly could not make out whether the VTT is less noiser than before, it sounded almost like a petrol at uniform speed.

And last but not the least thinking of starting a blog/website myself, just journaling all the days with VTT-TMT.

Will post a review how the plain diesel peformed on this 500 km run.
