I could not resist sharing today's events with you all so have finally whipped the Comp out and fired up my Tata Indicom Plug2Surf Dongle to bring you the news that I got my first Indian Speeding ticket from some very chilled out and friendly Goan Cops.
Had gone to South Goa for a run and on the way back was stopped by a bunch of traffic cops. It cost me Rs.600 for speeding in a 50km zone. :-)

Hi Dadu,
They had a Speed Gun plus a Video camera. A gypsy which sped past us and did not stop was captured on video and a photo of the number plate was printed out there itself. The cop informed me that the fine would be doubled in his case as he did not stop when he was asked to. :-)
It was the road from Margao to Panjim.
