Shake Rattle & Roll!

The Autocoat coating both inside and out was finished yesterday. Took 9 hours! Today the beast looked new for the first time! I know I am running a bit late with uploading pictures on here but please be patient. I shall do so soon. On the update front all is well. The many clicks and rattles have disappeared by themselves. the only occasional sound now left is that of the fronts suspension squeaking a little when going over the rumbles.

Had another day in bumper to bumper traffic in Pune and the drive is so relaxed. One arrives at ones destination quite refreshed having sat on high ground and the film+A/C combo does work very well and need to run the A/C on only number 1, to stay quite comfortable inside.

Still getting used to using the reverse camera thingy. The screens pretty small and there is no way of telling where the spare tyre is when reversing but it is still better to have than not I think.

Other than that the one odd bit I have noticed is that if you jam the brakes and honk at the same time the horn sounds as it its talking rather than beeping. It seems the ABS sucks a lot of juice from the electrics making everything else electrical kind of fluctuate. Don't know if this is a known issue or not. The 1st service should help clear this up.

Any other problems you can think of? What is the FE of the vehicle inside city limits? Also, one more Q do you really have to have a huge distance to commute daily to own this vehicle? Or is it okay from engine running in point of view to travel say 25 Kms daily? and may be a little bit more on weekends? You thoughts

Ok the FE at present seems to be between 10 and 11 Km to the liter with A/C always on and only in the city. Have only done just under 600kms myself so the tank has not been filled up since I topped it up on the day I got the truck.

My running on weekdays and most weekends is about 20 to 30 kms a day and only in the city. Hope to leave the city and get on that highway once the 1st service is done.

The one thing good about the New 2.2 engine is that it behaves well in the city and you only will use 2nd and 3rd gear. Rarely have got the room to use 4th and 5th. Can't wait to get on the expressway!!!
