A few days back the 4 speakers in the doors were changed to the Blaupunkt GTx663 model. The installation was done in 40 minutes and the sound quality now much improved. The original speakers were to put it mildly rubbish!
The total cost was Rs.5000/-.

Blaupunkt component speakers
Blaupunkt 2 channel amp
Pioneer 2990 system
JBL 937 6”x9” in a box in the boot
Total cost 16k. Time taken 3hrs
I have a 2.2 Dicor too, arctic silver, in Bangalore. I'm interested to know if the OE speakers are from Blaupunkt, if yes the model....
Plan to swap my speakers.. will audition the GT x663 for sure.

Yes, the OEM speakers are Blaupunkt. Don't know the model number but probably the cheapest ones. ;-)

Congrats and am glad could be of some help to you. Your ICE sounds good. Am very tempted to stick a sub in the boot myself but need all the space I get there for long interstate trips this year.
